O no, Student Loan came in, good times were had, Student loan got spent on rent and other extra-curricular activities and almost out of the blue -  student life now requires some budgeting to get through until the end of term.

So let’s reflect for a second, you’ve had a fantastic time as a Fresher so far, had an outfit for all occasions, including – most recently – Halloween, so what next?

To save a bit more money – eat in. Cooking your own nutritious feast could also be way to your housemates  hearts if you make enough to go around. Check out the following interesting articles on cooking and cooking from a graduate's perspective.

You do a lot more to get on top of your money matters too: getting on top of your money matters can make you feel much better. Firstly, work out how much you have, what you’ve got to spend the money on to find out how much you have left. The MoneySavingExpert.Com has all the tips you need. 

Budgeting doesn`t have to be boring; You may become more creative by baking for coffee with friends, making your own Christmas cards and get chatting to new people at the salon where you can visit with a Groupon/Wowcher  voucher. It could even be a flat project or competition – who can save most before the end of term?
