GoGlobal - April Trips, Events & Activities

To help you meet other students and explore different cultures SHU GoGlobal has arranged a number of fun social activities and events throughout April.

Day out in Bamford

Thursday 5th April 9.45am–4.30pm

Visit a picturesque village in the heart of the Peak District with a guided tour led by Friends of Bamford Station, a local community group who will give you a guided tour of the area, local attractions and landmarks. Please bring £6 for a return ticket, a picnic or some money for food, as well as some comfortable walking shoes! Click here to book your place.

Trip to Whitby

Saturday 7th April 8am–7pm

Whitby is a beautiful seaside town in the North-East of England famous as the home of Dracula and the best fish and chips in the UK. This is always one of our most popular trips so we recommend that you buy your tickets from our online store as soon as possible. Tickets are only £12. Book your tickets online.

Conversation Club

Wednesday 11th April 5pm–7pm

Trip to Bakewell

We have organised a trip to the delightful market town of Bakewell, famous for its cakes. We'll be taking the bus which is approximately £6 return, please pay on the day and register your interest on UniHub.
