Applications to Study Abroad Now Open!
We are currently accepting applications to go on study abroad in Semester 1 of 2019/20 (i.e. in August/September 2019) for the following Schools only:
- Aberdeen Business School
- School of Applied Social Studies (social science students only)
- School of Computing Science and Digital Media
- School of Creative and Cultural Business
- School of Nursing and Midwifery (midwifery students only)
- The Law School
If you wish to go on study abroad in Semester 2 (i.e. January/February 2020), there will be another round of applications in March 2019.
If you are interested in going on Study Abroad in August/September 2019, you will need to complete an online application form. The deadline for submission of this form is 11.59pm on 31 January 2019. At this stage, the application is an indication of interest only, you will not be committed to anything at this point.
N.B. Before you can access the application form, you will have to register on the right hand side of the portal - your RGU login details will not work!
This form replaces the former “Expression of Interest Form” and is much more extensive. You will have the opportunity to select up to 3 destinations – please ensure that you list them in order of preference. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to give you one of your preferred destinations as places are limited at each institution.
If you have selected any European destinations (except Switzerland), this application form will also be your application for your Erasmus grant. Exchanges outside Europe do not attract any financial assistance.
Once you have clicked on “submit”, your application will automatically be submitted to the Study Abroad Team – you will also be able to download a pdf copy of the form so that you have a record of what you have submitted. You should receive an automated email to confirm receipt - this will come from the software we use, MoveON, so check your junk mail. You can log back into the portal at any time to look over your application again.
After the deadline, your application will be forwarded to your School’s International Exchange Coordinator and you should hear the outcome of your application by 18 February 2019. This will be communicated to you via your RGU email address.
