The Arts Festival 2018
The Arts Festival
The Union
12 - 14 October
You are invited to a free weekend of film, art, and discussion at The Union.
A joint venture between Manchester Met and The Union, the Arts Festival is an opportunity to celebrate all that unites us, and challenge the beliefs and attitudes that can lead to discrimination and division.
Throughout the weekend, view screenings of thought provoking films, take in an art exhibition of students’ responses to issues such as identity, faith, and disability, and participate in a range of talks, discussions and workshops with community groups and other experts/spokespeople. Check out the full programme of activities and choose what you fancy coming along to.
This event is open to students and members of the public – all are welcome in this safe space to engage in discussion, share experiences and challenge perceptions of our world today.
