So you like... gaming and electronics

By AdamResLife 19 Oct 2016

There are loads of opportunities around Campus to get involved with a range of activities. In this series, we let you know about the various societies, events and clubs you can get involved with.

We live in the technology age; every week there are new products breaking into the market, and people report that in next to no time, we will rely on robots in everyday life! Does anything tech interest you? Maybe you love gaming... check out our list of things to get involved with around Campus.

  1. Gaming Society. They hold socials on Wednesday afternoons where you can take part in tournaments to win prizes. Their movie nights take place on Monday; and Sundays are PC-Day. Click here for more info.
  2.  IT Rovers. Are you a computer whizz? Did you know that you can work part time for IT services, providing practical IT support on a roving basis for students within the Library and IT Zones. More on the opportunity here.
  3. Computing Society. This society aims to bring together students across campus who are interested in software development, engineering or web design. Find out more by clicking this link.
