Introducing your Halls Student Committees!

By HallsLife 27 Oct 2017

What is a Halls’ Student Committee?

Halls’ Student Committees (HSC s) are made up of residents of a particular hall who work together to make sure that everyone has the best time whilst living in that Hall. The HSC identify any issues of those living in Halls and making sure that their opinions are heard at the University and at the Liverpool Guild of Students.

HSC team have an annual budget of money to spend on their hall!

This money is to be used to make sure that you and the students living in your hall have the best time possible throughout the year! This budget has previously covered the costs of doing events like: Halloween parties, Nights out in Manchester, LGBT Awareness Week, Film Nights, Chinese New Year celebrations, Charity events (eg. Children in Need/Comic Relief).

How can I help my HSC create the best year possible?

It’s simple! If you have an idea of something you would like to see in your halls – whether it is an event idea or new facilities you want to have in halls – you can get involved by simply dropping your HSC members a quick email to let them know. This idea will be brought to their next HSC meeting, and they will do everything they can to meet your needs as a student here in the University of Liverpool halls.
