Want to be a Freshers Helper?
Do you love life at Heriot-Watt? Want to share your experiences with new students?
Apply to be a Fresher Helper!
We're on the lookout for students that love chatting with new people, like to run events and can handle a long day to help out during Freshers Week.
It's all about making sure our new students have an unforgettable experience from helping them settle into leading activities. You can guarantee no day will be the same.
It's a voluntary post and will run from Saturday 1st September until Sunday 9th September. Don't worry though, we'll try to make sure shifts work around you. You just have to come along to a mandatory training day on Friday 31st August to get you ready. Move-In weekend (1st/2nd Sept) will be super busy so we'll need all hands on deck!
You'll be working alongside the Student Union and the other Fresher Helpers to ensure everyone has the best time.
Interested? Here's some more info about the role and how to apply. (You have until 31st May!)
