The clocks are going forward this weekend (finally) which means that Spring is on its way!
The snow might have meant a couple of days off but there's no doubt a bit of sunshine will be hugely appreciated.
Although this means losing an hour of sleep, it does mean...
- Lighter nights and longer days
We've survived the Beast from the East which means it's all up from here! Mornings will be lighter which means it's SO much easier to crawl out of bed.
Time for a well-deserved break for a few weeks after a pretty hectic term of deadlines and exams. Not only that but time to indulge in Easter eggs and plenty of other Easter treats whilst putting your feet up and watching your favourite shows/films - you've earned it!
- Lent is nearly over...
Whatever you have decided to give up for the last 40 days and nights, you're very nearly able to indulge again. Unless you've had an epiphany and decided to stick with it!
- Time to put the parka away
You've probably spent the last few months wrapped up in endless layers but with temperatures are picking up a bit (hopefully!) you can put your big coat away and mix up your wardrobe a bit.
- Say goodbye to stews
Yes, we all love a warming casserole when it's snowy outside but it can be too much. It's time to get in that kitchen and start experimenting.
- Cheaper fruit & veg
Speaking of food - you might not know which fruit and vegetables are in season in Spring but you need to because they're usually cheaper. Look out for offers on asparagus, spinach, watercress, radishes, cauliflower and spring onions to save yourself some cash and make some delicious meals.
- Avengers: Infinity War
If you're into Marvel, this is going to HUGE and is something you cannot miss! Watch the trailer to prepare you for the amazing things that are going to happen but think Iron Man, Spiderman, Captain American, Hulk and lots more.
- 13 Reasons Why is back
The Netflix Original series that got everyone talking (and left us on a major cliffhanger) back in April 2017 is back for a second series. Set your reminders for 30th March so that you don't miss out before your Twitter timeline spoils it for you.
